VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow

VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow by Evonik is an unfilled, high viscosity, electrically isolating, high molecular weight, polyamide 12. It exhibits resistance to heat (thermal stability), hydrolysis/hot water, UV/light/weathering, fatigue and oil/fuel. This tough & durable grade offers corrosion resistance, resistant to heavy hydrocarbons, high resistance to slow crack growth & rapid crack propagation and increased installation efficiencies. It is a halogen- & phosphorus-free, semi-crystalline, high impact strength and light-, UV- & heat stabilized grade. It shows general chemical resistance, high melt strength, weldability and solvent-, grease-, ozone- & aging resistance. It is processed by injection molding and profile & pipe/tube extrusion. VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow displays superior performance characteristics making it ideal choice for expanding the use of thermoplastic piping systems. Recommended for tubes & hoses, gas pipes & fittings, industry & building construction and oil & gas applications. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
