VESTAMID® NRG 2901 black by Evonik is an unfilled, high performance, semi-crystalline, high viscosity, heat stabilized, polyamide 12 with exceptional mold release properties. It is nucleated to reduce the cycle time and shrinkage of molded parts. It possesses low coefficient of friction, low moisture absorption, exceptional impact strength, high abrasion resistance, low friction and good chemical resistance. It exhibits heat (thermal stability), hydrolysis/hot water, UV/light/weathering and oil/fuel. It is processed by injection molding and pipe/tube extrusion. It is used in oil & gas and tube & hose applications. VESTAMID® NRG 2901 black has a shelf life of 2 years.
