VESTAMID® NRG 4901 black

VESTAMID® NRG 4901 by Evonik is a black colored polyamide 12 (PA 12) resin. Exhibits very high impact resistance and toughness, even at low temperatures, excellent stress cracking resistance (even when metal parts are insert-molded or pressed-in), excellent wear resistance and low sliding friction coefficient (with dry running compared to steel, polybutylene, terephthalate, polyacetate and other materials). Possesses higher shore hardness than polyethylene or polypropylene. Offers corrosion and mechanical protection. Suitable for processing by extrusion. VESTAMID® NRG 4901 by Evonik is designed for steel pipe protection, that is, flexible & tough encasement system for horizontal directional drilling, the soil displacement method with non-steered displacement hammers, dynamic ramming and plow technology.
