VESTAMID® NRG 6001

VESTAMID® NRG 6001 by Evonik is a natural colored semi-crystalline polyamide 12 (PA 12) resin. It is a plasticized, impact-modified, heat- and light-stabilized grade. Exhibits high viscosity, exceptional impact strength, low sliding friction coefficient (with dry running compared to steel, polybutylene, terephthalate, polyacetate and other materials) and good chemical resistance. Offers easy processing and good dimensional control. Properties of this grade vary little with changing humidity due to low moisture absorption. This compound is optimized for excellent bonding to Neoflon^TM EFEP RP-5000 (a registered trademark of Daikin Industries). Suitable for processing by pipe extrusion. VESTAMID® NRG 6001 is designed for flexible multi-layer tubing and hoses especially for oil and petrochemical applications (for umbilicals).
