VESTODUR® GF30-FR3

VESTODUR® GF30-FR3 by Evonik is a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits good strength, good sliding friction behavior, low abrasion, good creep behavior and good electrical properties. Offers improved heat aging resistance, very high abrasion resistance, high thermostability, high stiffness, low water absorption, high dimensional stability and high hardness. Contains heat stabilizer and lubricant additives. Also offers good chemical resistance, good weathering resistance, good processability and no tendency to form stress cracks. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. VESTODUR® GF30-FR3 is suitable for electrical engineering applications, automotive industry, as a barrier layer in multilayer fuel lines, for laser markable components and in the cable industry. Meets UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
