VESTODUR® X4877

VESTODUR® X4877 by Evonik is a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade. Exhibits high thermostability, high stiffness, low water absorption, high dimensional stability and high hardness. Offers good strength, good sliding friction behavior, low abrasion, good creep behavior and good electrical properties. Also offers good chemical resistance, good weathering resistance, good processability and no tendency to form stress cracks. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. VESTODUR® X4877 is suitable for electrical engineering applications, automotive industry, as a barrier layer in multilayer fuel lines, for laser markable components and in the cable industry. Meets UL 94 HB flame rating.
