Escor™ 5100

Escor™ 5100 by ExxonMobil Chemical is an ethylene acrylic acid copolymer grade. Exhibits excellent adhesion to polar substrates, aluminium foil, metallized films, papers, iron, steel and glass. Provides excellent high bond resistance. Possesses outstanding sealing performances: very low temperature sealing with high seal strengths, high hot tack forces and good seal through contamination. Is an excellent coextrusion adhesive grade for polyamides and a good adhesive polymer in film. Escor™ 5100 can be processed using extrusion coating, coextrusion coating and extrusion lamination. Recommended for applications like metallized films, cable shielding, food packaging and aluminum containing packaging.
