13R9A by Flint Hills is a clear, semi-crystalline, radiation resistant, autoclavable polypropylene (PP) random copolymer grade. It is not formulated with animal derived components. Exhibits good contact clarity, radiation sterilizability, high stiffness, high impact strength at room temperatures, low density, and good electrical insulation properties. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. 13R9A is recommended for medical devices and lab wares. Complies with the FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a, USP Class VI , USP, & USP, & ISO 10993-5 and is listed with Drug Master File.
