Formolene® 6550A

Formolene® 6550A is a high flow, medium impact Polypropylene (PP) copolymer grade that is designed for thin walled injection molding applications. This grade offers easy mold flow, excellent physical property balance and finished product dimensional stability. Typical applications include housewares, containers and other rigid packaging. Formolene® 6550A meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles and components of articles intended for direct food contact. Also meets the requirements for materials & articles intended to come into contact with food as specified by Directives EC/2023/2006, EC/1935/2004, EU/10/2011 and EU/1183/2012. This grade is free from animal-derived content.
