Halene-H™ Y5401 by Haldia Petrochemicals is a water-insoluble, monofilament HDPE (high molecular weight high density polyethylene) grade produced by Mitsui CX Technology. It is characterized by excellent processability and high mechanical strength. Markets include stretched tape, raffia, yarns for woven sacks and tarpaulin. Halene-H™ Y5401 is included in TSCA (The Toxic Substances Control Act), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial chemical Substances), Australian, and Japan inventory status.
