Bio 970

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Heritage Plastics
Pelletized mineral-containing compound based on a blend of biodegradable resins, including an aliphatic/aromatic co-polyester. Bio 970 is a fully formulated resin system that can be easily converted into a film which is then used for waste bags or liners using standard blown film processing equipment. Diversion of food scraps, lawn and yard wastes and organics away from the typical land fill to a composting facility is an environmentally friendly solution, generating fewer green house gas emissions and allowing the organic wastes to be converted into a rich soil additive. The organic wastes contained in bags made with Bio 970 will all decompose together in the composting system where microorganisms attack the film along with the waste, leaving only natural residues behind like water, carbon dioxide and biomass.
