SOLARPOL® F-451

SOLARPOL® F-451 by Hyundai EP is a self-extinguishable, flame retardant, expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade available in the form of beads. It is produced from polystyrene beads that are impregnated under heat and pressure with a light hydrocarbon such as pentane. Exhibits good strength, good fusion, and low thermal conductivity. Is insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents. Can be processed using foaming. SOLARPOL® F-451 is recommended for building & construction applications such as insulation board. It complies with the RoHS regulation.
