IS -84 by I. Stern and Company is a strong polyethylene terephthalate (PET) copolymer resin. It is manufactured using Du Pont’s technology. Is a shatter-resistant, lightweight, non-reactive grade exhibiting excellent clarity, gloss and mechanical properties and offering very good processability. This product by I. Stern and Company is used in high quality strapping, amorphous sheeting and bottle packaging of aerated drinks & agrochemicals. IS -84 resin is considered safe for food-packaging applications based on compliance with FDA regulation 21 CFR Section 177.1630 & other similar food contact safety regulations.
