XAREC™ S131

XAREC™ S131 by Idemitsu Kosan is a lightweight syndiotactic polystyrene (SPS) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber with good flowability. It offers good electrical, dielectric properties, moldability, dimensional-, hydrolytic- & hygroscopic stability, good processability and low warpage.
  • It exhibits good chemical-, water-tracking and long-term heat resistance.
  • It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • It is used in electronic, electrical, automotive, connector for air bag, ECU (power window), ECU housing (electric control unit for engine)?, terminal base and inverter connector (hybrid vehicle) applications.
  • XAREC™ S131 complies with RoHS and UL 94 HB flame rating.
