RAMAPET R180(S)

RAMAPET R180 (S) commercialized by Indorama polymers is a general purpose polymer copolymer made from terephthalic acid (PTA), isophthalic acid (IPA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). Contains a moderate level of a "clear" reheat additive. The use of reheat additive provides significant energy saving of up to 30% when reheating preforms. It can be processed using film & sheet extrusion. Formulation gives a better reheat consistency than PET without reheat, allowing the blowing of more complicated shapes and an efficient blowing of the latest, light-weighted preform/bottle designs. Suitable for bottles for carbonated soft drinks, water bottles, juices, beer, wine & spirits, household products, food packaging and APET sheet & thermoformed containers. RAMAPET R180 (S) commercialized by Indorama polymers complies with the requirements of the European Legislation (EU) No 10/2011 for plastics used in contact with food, EU Regulation 2023/2006 and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR 177.1630 and 21 CFR 174.5.
