InStruc™ PEIGF10

InStruc™ PEIGF10 by Americhem is a polyether imide (PEI) grade reinforced with 10 % glass fiber. Possesses good strength & stiffness and offers increased heat deflection temperature. Exhibits fatigue endurance, dimensional stability & provides creep and long term heat resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications could be endoscopic medical instruments, inhalers, pumps, pharmaceutical & pill dispensing equipment, internal components for printers, mailing machines, copiers and business machine bearings. Can also be used in building and constructions sector such as capstock films for siding & windows and construction fasteners. Transportation applications range from bearings, rail guards, stocks for firearms, pistol grips, night vision goggles and insulation blankets for airplanes. Other applications may include industrial pulley systems, belt systems & chemical pump components and recreational vehicles such as ATVs, golf carts, snowmobiles, trailers and RVs. Also recommended for consumer goods like exercise equipment, sports and leisure equipment, sporting goods, elevator buttons and any thermoplastic applications requiring antimicrobials. InStruc™ PEIGF10 complies with REACH and RoHS regulations.
