POVAL™ AP-17 by Japan Vam & Poval is a denatured polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. Offers high solubility, little foaming in aqueous solutions, good aqueous solution viscosity stability and high adhesion with polyester and metals. It has carboxyl groups as a denatured group other than the hydroxyl and acetate groups. POVAL™ AP-17 by Japan Vam & Poval forms a complex with specific metallic salts such as aluminum sulfate.
