Ecomp® 120

Ecomp® 120 by Kafrit Group is a plasticized, compostable & biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA)-based compound. It contains antioxidants and 40% renewable resources. Exhibits easy processing, good weldability, excellent mechanical properties and good printability. It can be processed using conventional blown and cast film extrusion equipment with only minor process parameter changes, namely reduced temperature and controlled screw speed. Ecomp® 120 is recommended for the production of films of 12 μm up to 100 μm for shopping bags, raschel bags & twine applications. Complies with EN 13432, ASTM D6400-04, ISO 17088 and the Japanese green PLA Standard.
