Green Planet™ X151A by Kaneka is polyhydroxybutyrate-hexanoate (PHBH). Exhibits good hydrolysis stability, flexibility and heat resistance. It is a 100% plant-derived, biomass polymer produced by microorganisms in a specified fermentation condition using plant oils. Shows excellent biodegradability under aerobic, anaerobic, aquatic and composting conditions and is proven to be an environmental friendly plastic. Green Planet™ X151A is designed for use in straws, coffee capsules, films, shopping bags, cutlery and food packaging.
