ELVANOL™ 90-50

ELVANOL™ 90-50 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol. Designed to provide high film strength, tensile & adhesive strength and binding power in relatively medium and low viscosity systems. Offers oil, grease and solvent resistance. Complies with FDA 177.1670 for polyvinyl alcohol film applications, FDA 177.2260 for resin-bonded filters and FDA 177.2800 for textiles and textile fibers. ELVANOL™ 90-50 is used as a binder for pigments or other solid particles.
