KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) defoamed grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It provides good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 is recommended as emulsion polymerization aid to binder in paper applications. It complies with REACH regulations. It can be stored for 12 months from date of shipment.
