KURARAY POVAL™ 25-100

KURARAY POVAL™ 25-100 is fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade by Kuraray. It possesses good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. It exhibits excellent film-forming properties, good water solubility, high tensile strength, and elasticity. It shows very good dispersing power and resistance against organic solvent. It offers good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 25-100 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
