KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL by Kuraray is a modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade with varying degrees of polymerization, hydrolysis and co-monomers. The carboxylate polymer exhibits strong hydrophilic property even at low degree of hydrolysis. It possesses good water solubility, excellent film-forming properties, high tensile strength and elasticity. It shows very good dispersing power and resistance against organic solvent. Films produced from this grade are soft and flexible at 20°C, 65% RH and under high humidity. KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL can be used in wide range of applications such as textile, construction, ceramics, packaging and electronics.
