KURARAY POVAL™ 5-88 M by Kuraray is a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade modified with thiol group. This grade is water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits excellent film-forming properties, high tensile strength and elasticity. It shows very good dispersing power and resistance against organic solvent. KURARAY POVAL™ 5-88 M can be used in wide range of applications such as textile, construction, ceramics, packaging and electronics.
