KURARAY POVAL™ 56-98 LA by Kuraray is a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, low ash (sodium acetate) content, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 56-98 LA is recommended for binder in ceramics, adhesive for flooring webs and top coating for thermal paper.
