KURARAY POVAL™ 7-92

KURARAY POVAL™ 7-92 is a medium hydrolyzed, water soluble, standard type polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) by Kuraray. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It influences the rheology of polymer emulsions including particle size distribution, viscosity, stability to stirring, freeze/ thaw stability, pigment compatibility and electrolyte stability. Exhibits good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. Used as a protective colloid for emulsion polymerization, binder and raw material for PVOH films. Also used as a binder in sizes due to its good penetration capacity, cohesion and good adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. Shelf life of KURARAY POVAL™ 7-92 is 12 months.
