KURARAY POVAL™ PVA-217 by Kuraray is a partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) grade. It exhibits water solubility, adhesiveness, film formation and oil resistant ability. It provides emulsifying property, enhanced durability and improved performance. KURARAY POVAL™ PVA-217 is recommended for polyvinyl acetate emulsion & suspending agent stabilizers and remoistenable-, paper- & urea formalin resin adhesives. It is also used in release-, thermal sensitive & pressure sensitive papers, warp sizing for spun yarns, textile finishing & printing, film molding, ceramic/ferrite binders and television braun tubes.
