Durethan® B 31 FCS 000000 by LANXESS is a low viscosity, lubricated polyamide (PA 6) grade. Possesses good slip properties, high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation properties, and high stiffness. Exhibits good toughness, low friction, dynamic load bearing properties and good processability. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance and the attenuation of noise and vibration. Shows high resistance to heat (170 to 200 °Cover the short term; 80 to 160 °C long-term) and chemicals such as fuels, lubricants, solvents, and cleaning agents. Durethan® B 31 FCS 000000 is suitable for processing by extrusion. Applications include extrusion and coextrusion coating mono- & multifilament's and fibers, cast coextrusion of PA-PE composite films. Durethan® B 31 FCS 000000 conforms to REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006, Annex II- Europe), & RoHS certificate. Complies with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1500.
