Durethan® B40FAM 000000 by LANXESS is a very supple, high viscosity, lubricated polyamide (PA 6) grade. Possesses high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation properties, high slip properties and high stiffness. Exhibits good toughness, low friction, dynamic load bearing properties and good processability. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance and the attenuation of noise and vibration. Shows high resistance to heat and chemicals. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Applications include films, multilayer films, monofilaments and lawn trimmer lines. Recommended for cast & blown films, embedded PA layer made by PE-PA-PE coextrusion, sausage casings made by double bubble process. Durethan® B40FAM 000000 is used in profiles & extruded semifinished products. Complies with REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006), FDA-Regulation 21 CFR 177.1500 and RoHS certificate.
