Durethan® BKV 35 H2.0 901510 by LANXESS is a black colored heat aging stabilized polyamide (PA 6) grade reinforced with 35 % glass fiber. Possesses high mechanical strength, high stiffness and good electrical insulation properties. Exhibits low friction, dynamic load bearing properties and good processability. Provides high wear-, abrasion-, shock & fracture resistance, good weather resistance and the attenuation of noise and vibration. Shows high resistance to heat (170 to 200 °C over the short term; 80 to 160 °C long-term) and chemicals such as fuels, lubricants, solvents and cleaning agents. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Durethan® BKV 35 H2.0 901510 is used in body reinforcement by CBS (composite body solutions) technology that comprises metal, thermoplastic and high-density structural foam. Complies with REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006) and RoHS.
