Durethan® BM 240 H2.0 901510 by LANXESS is a heat-aging stabilized, Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) [PA 6 (Nylon 6)] grade reinforced with 40% mineral. Exhibits isotropic properties, low tendency to warp, improved surface, good stress cracking behavior, heat resistance, dimensional accuracy and dimensional stability, high abrasion resistance, low friction and dynamic load bearing properties. Shows resistance to fuels, lubricants, solvents and cleaning agents. Possesses high stiffness, high-gloss surface finish with high reproduction accuracy, high shock and fracture resistance, electrical insulation, easy processing with rapid solidification and fast cycles. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive Automotive sector in manufacture of low-warpage parts, tank filler flaps, wheel caps etc. Durethan® BM 240 H2.0 901510 complies with the requirements of EU (2002/95/EC0), RoHS and REACH directives.
