LATAMID 6 H2 G/20-V2HF by LATI is a heat-stabilized, halogen-free, flame-retarded, UV resistant, red phosphorus-based polyamide 6 (PA6) grade. It is reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It can be stabilized to improve resistance to coolants (e.g. glycol), oil or grease. It has excellent colorability and is suitable for in-line painting at 150-160°C. It possesses good stiffness, and mechanical-, thermal- and electrical properties. It exhibits fatigue-, chemical- and wear-resistance as well as high moisture absorption that improves toughness. It shows improved aesthetic, flowability and shrinkage with mixing of different additives. LATAMID 6 H2 G/20-V2HF is suitable for processing by injection molding. Potential applications include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and bio-based applications. Complies with UL94 V-2 flame rating.
