LATAN 23UV

LATAN 23UV is a UV stabilized polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer. Is a low viscosity resin grade where comonomer units are causally added in repetitive blocks of trioxan. Possesses high mechanical properties, very good tribological properties, thermal stability, stiffness, toughness and self-lubricant properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption, good inertness, good chemical- , wear- , oxidation- and hydrolysis-resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 23UV is suitable for applications in hot water up to 80-90°C. Can be used in gears, cams, bushings and in various parts like electromechanical, hydraulic, automotive and other sectors.
