LATAN 23UVE71 is a UV stabilized polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer. Is a low viscosity resin grade where comonomer units are causally added in repetitive blocks of trioxan. Provides toughness, good elongation and impact resistance. Possesses high mechanical properties, thermal stability, stiffness, toughness and self-lubricant properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption, good inertness, good chemical- , wear-, oxidation- and hydrolysis-resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 23UVE71 is suitable for applications in hot water up to 80-90°C. Can be used in gears, cams, bushings and in various parts like electromechanical, hydraulic, automotive and other sectors.
