LATER 4 by LATI is an unfilled polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). Possesses good mechanical-, thermal- and electrical- properties. Exhibits good chemical-, wear-resistance and low moisture absorption. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 4 can be used in very humid environments but is not suitable for use in continuous or long contact with hot water (above 50°C). Potential applications include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and biobased applications.
