LATER 4 G/30-V0HF1 is a halogen and red phosphorous free flame retardant polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) based compound reinforced with 30% glass fibers. Possesses good mechanical-, thermal-, electrical- properties and stiffness. Exhibits good chemical-, wear-resistance and low moisture absorption. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 4 G/30-V0HF1 can be used in very humid environments but is not suitable for use in continuous or long contact with hot water (above 50°C). Potential applications include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and biobased applications. Complies with UL94 V-0 flame rating.
