LATER 4E61 GCER/450-V0 is a bromine free, flame retardant polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) based compound reinforced with glass fibers and mineral filler. Is free from Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). Provides toughness and improved impact resistance. Possesses high dimensional stability, good mechanical-, thermal- , electrical- properties and stiffness. Exhibits good chemical-, wear-resistance and low moisture absorption. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 4E61 GCER/450-V0 can be used in very humid environments but is not suitable for use in continuous or long contact with hot water (above 50°C). Potential applications include automotive, precision mechanics, household appliances, electronics and biobased applications. Complies with UL94 V-0 flame rating.
