Pellethane® 5863-87A-R1 by Lubrizol is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Offers good physical properties, hydrolysis resistance, low-temperature performance, and abrasion with a wide processing window for extrusion. Designed for processing by extrusion and injection molding. It is water-insoluble and has a faint odor. Pellethane® 5863-87A is recommended for medical applications.
