Lucite® Diakon® Frost 902 51

Lucite® Diakon® Frost 902 51 is a Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) grade. Provides a matte, non-glossy finish along with maximum light transmission and diffusing properties. Exhibits good UV-, abrasion and weather resistance. Offers good rigidity and retains excellent definition and light diffusing characteristics. Shows high surface hardness and scratch resistance, similar to aluminium. Possesses good dimensional stability, low water absorption and is easy to recycle. Articles made from Frost 902 51 are resistant, at temperatures up to 60°C, to dilute acids and most alkali solutions and at room temperature, to aqueous solutions of inorganic salts, aliphatic hydrocarbons, fats and oils and most of the common gases. Is suitable for processing by sheet, profile and tube extrusion. Used for lighting (LED lamps, etc) and display applications.
