Akoalit PB 4237 GREY

Akoalit PB 4237 GREY by LyondellBasell is a polybutene-1 homopolymer grade. It is a weldable, highly isotactic polyolefin manufactured from butene-1 monomer. The product provides excellent long term hydrostatic strength at elevated temperatures combined with high flexibility. Shows good creep resistance and good thermal stability. Designed for processing by injection molding, pipe and sheet extrusion. Used for pipe and fittings for potable hot and cold water distribution applications. Typical applications include district heating, industrial, drinking water pipe, radiator connections, under floor heating, building and construction. Akoalit PB 4237 GREY complies with ISO 15876, ISO 12230, DIN 16968 / DIN 16969, Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 and many other National Standards for PB-1 pipe applications.
