Alathon L5005 by LyondellBasell is a high molecular weight, high density polyethylene (HDPE) copolymer grade. Exhibits broad bimodal molecular weight distribution, high stiffness, good heat seal response and good strength.

It is insoluble in water.
It is processed by blown film extrusion.
Alathon L5005 is recommended for use in merchandise bags, grocery sacks, bin liners, produce bags and roll stock.
It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, Regulation 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), 10/2011/EC (PIM), (EC) No 1272/2008, and REACH.
