Alathon L5440 is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Exhibits excellent color, low odor and excellent processing stability. Shows grease- , corrosion- and shatter resistance and high crystalinity. Designed for blow molding process. Recommended for general purpose household chemicals, industrial chemicals, detergent, and motor oil bottles. Complies with Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 177.1520, EU Regulation 10/2011/EC (PIM), CLP Regulation - Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 and EU Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC.
