ALKOX® EP1010N

ALKOX® EP1010N is a low molecular weight, water soluble random copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide by Meisei Chemical Works. Shows more compatibility with other resins & organic solvents and improves the solubility in organic solvents. Is easy to handle and able to make a solution at high concentration. Exhibits low viscosity, low moisture absorbency, good fluidity at room temperature and thermoplasticity. Provides flexibility and adhesive property with low crystallinity. Offers reduced flow resistance, tackiness when wet and easy release when dried. It maintains water solubility even if combined with other chemicals. Moreover, it has a function of coagulating sedimentation for suspension of clay, silica and others. ALKOX® EP1010N is suitable for processing by heat rolling, extrusion and casting. Possible applications include resin kneading, film forming and as a binder.
