FM 1224 by Melos is a halogen-free, crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) with IIR base polymer. Exhibits low smoke and it is designed for tandem- & coilable for two-step processes. Used as bedding compounds for XLPE insulation and HFFR sheathing of cables. Suitable in combination with TPU & XLPE for flexible applications. FM 1224 complies with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 and DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 standards.
