Semitron® ESd 500HR is a white colored static dissipative polytetrafluoroethylene [PTFE] grade reinforced with synthetic mica. Offers an excellent combination of low frictional properties and dimensional stability. Provides a controlled bleed-off of static charges. Exhibits broad chemical resistance, thermal performance and dissipate static charges [5kV] in less than 2 seconds. Is suitable for processing by compression molding. Mainly used in production of inserts. Potential applications include integrated circuits, hard disk drives and circuit boards. Suitable for material handling applications (silicon wafers) & components in high speed electronic printing and reproducing equipment.
