Certene® HWB-1048 by Muehlstein is a prime high molecular weight, high density polyethylene (HDPE) copolymer grade available in the form of pellets. Is insoluble in cold water. Offers good processability, good chemical resistance, excellent low temperature impact strength, good rigidity and good melt strength. Is suitable for processing by blow molding and thermoforming. It is recommended for shipping containers, chemical & fuel tanks, carrying cases, automotive parts, tool boxes, truck bedliners and playground equipment applications. Certene® HWB-1048 complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2(a) regulation.
