CERTENE™ HWB-1051 by Muehlstein is a prime high molecular weight, high density polyethylene (HDPE) hexene copolymer grade available in the form of pellets. Is insoluble in cold water. Offers good processability, good moldability, good melt strength, good chemical resistance, high environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR), high impact resistance and good stiffness. Is suitable for processing by blow molding, sheet extrusion, profile extrusion and thermoforming. CERTENE™ HWB-1051 is recommended for industrial containers, chemical & gasoline tanks, carrying cases, automotive parts, toolboxes, truck-bed liners and piping applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.1a and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2a regulations.
