Certene® SIM-080 by Muehlstein is a prime, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets. Is insoluble in cold water. Offers good processability, high gloss, low warpage, high strength and fast molding cycle. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Certene® SIM-080 is recommended for appliance housings, housewares, furniture components, fan grids, scale models, structural foam moldings, toys and audio & video cassette shells applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 regulation.
