GOHSENX™ T-350

GOHSENX™ T-350 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is an anionic specialty modified PVOH having a carboxyl group on its side chain. This grade exhibits excellent solubility, bonding power, and reactivity of the carboxyl group. It offers properties such as its aqueous solution behaves as a polymer electrolyte, excellent solubility in water compared with ordinary PVOH, excellent viscosity stability, and less prone to abnormalities in fluidity under high shear speed. It features good compatibility with water-soluble polymers such as starch. This grade forms a chelate with a metal ion (in particular, aluminum ion) to cross-link and insolubilize the metal ion. It improves the surface and Z-axis strength of paper when coated and its features are much better barrier properties than ordinary PVOH. GOHSENX™ T-350 is recommended for printing stock, coat paper, NCR paper, release paper, emulsifier (PVAc-Em), cement mortar agent, film and drilling fluid control agent.
