GOHSENX™ T-350

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by NIPPON GOHSEI
GOHSENX™ T-350 by NIPPON GOHSEI is an anionic specialty modified PVOH having a carboxyl group on its side chain. Exhibits excellent solubility, bonding power, and reactivity of the carboxyl group. Offers properties such as its aqueous solution behaves as a polymer electrolyte, excellent solubility in water compared with ordinary PVOH, excellent in viscosity stability, and less prone to abnormalities in fluidity under high shear speed. Features good compatibility with water-soluble polymers such as starch. Forms a chelate with a metal ion (in particular, aluminum ion) to cross-link and insolubilize the metal ion. Improves the surface and Z-axis strength of paper when coated and its features are much better barrier properties than ordinary PVOH. GOHSENX™ T-350 is recommended for printing stock, coat paper, NCR paper, release paper, emulsifier(VAc-Em), cement mortar agent, film and drilling fluid control agent.
