PE 6146KM by Nizh Yug (Nizhnekamskneftekhim) is high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. It is obtained by co-polymerization of ethylene and hexene-1 in presence of complex metalorganic catalysts. It exhibits high strength, elastic properties, high stress cracking resistance, long-term thermal stability and resistance to thermal oxidative destruction. PE 6146KM offers good processability and is used for outer layer of anti-corrosive PE coating for insulation of steel pipes.
